Requirements of Belize International Business Companies

According to the Belize International Business Companies (Amendment) Act 2018, an International Business Company is permitted to undertake any business in Belize unless forbidden by local law and is obligated to do so. to seek permission from appropriate authorities to engage in the following licensed activities:

  • Carrying on banking business;
  • Carrying on insurance or reinsurance business;
  • Conducting business as a registered agent/officer for corporations;
