The board of trade of the state of Bahia (JUCEB) is the agency in charge of registering business activity in the state of Bahia. Its responsibilities include the state public registry of large corporations, licensing and licensing of translators, advertising translators, auctioneers, and other activities related to acts of legalization of companies. It is linked to the secretariat of economic development.
It is under the federal technical coordination of the national department of trade registration, along with the other commercial boards of the Brazilian federative units. JUCEB’s biggest contribution is the commercial registry, a document that, according to the 1994 legislation, is the official domain of the public registry of mercantile companies and related activities. One of the basic and mandatory things for forming business organizations located in Bahia is registration with the board. The active and regularized registration ensures that your company’s commercial name is protected.
It features a decentralized structure that allows regional offices to assist cities in Bahia’s interior. JUCEB welcomes an average of 40 thousand new businesses per year.
